What you'll do... Develop applications using Java technologies such as Spring-Boot, VertX, Maven, Groovy, and non-Java technologies such as HTML, CSS, and ReactJS. Create and maintain documentation on applications and processes. Participate in team development meetings, code reviews, planning, and retrospectives. Support testing strategies such as unit, integration, end to end, penetration, and stress testing to identify and fix bugs and bottlenecks. Ensure overall integration of the system through collaboration with other engineering teams. Provide rapid response and solution options to customers on blocking issues. Requirements

  • Experience with Java and Spring-Boot or VertX.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications.
  • Experience writing quality code using industry standard practices including Unit, functional, and integration test cases with frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito.
  • Experience integrating with up and downstream systems using Java rest clients.
  • Experience maintaining application source base using Git and Git Hub.
  • Experience utilizing CI/CD process, pipeline, & tools to build, ship, and run cloud applications.
  • Experience debugging and fixing
  • Experience with Containerized workloads in Kubernetes. The experience should include running Kubernetes in GCP, Azure, and/or private cloud.
  • Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area

  • The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
