In this role, the Staff Engineer will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications. This role requires deep expertise in Java-based backend systems and Angular-based frontend development, along with a strong understanding of modern software architecture, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies. As a Staff Engineer, you will play a critical role in setting technical directions, mentoring engineers, and driving the successful delivery of complex projects across the full stack.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior technical lead role.
Proven experience in designing and scaling distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and microservices.
Expertise in Java (backend) and Angular (frontend) is required.
Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in Agile environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time data streaming.
Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
