About The Position

Joining the DCFin and Shore teams means working on mission‑critical systems that connect warehouse operations to financial outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with product, platform, and operations partners, lead real architectural and integration decisions, and own systems end to end—from discovery and design to deployment and production support. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with building scalable, highly distributed, high performing, and robust Java applications
  • Extensive Java / JEE programming experience with a focus on server-side components
  • Proficient hands-on experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Java Application
  • Extensive experience in developing Spring Boot APIs
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD concepts and tools
  • Advanced scripting skills in at least one of the following: Python, Perl, or Shell and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools
  • Extensive experience driving large cross-functional team projects to completion
  • Experience with Code Quality Governance related tools (Sonar, Gerrit, PMD, FindBugs, Checkstyle, Emma, Cobertura, JIRA, etc)
  • Experience with Source Code Management Tools (GitHUB, SVN, CVS, Clearcase)
  • Knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code
  • Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environment
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with a high-level design
  • Designs, implements, and tests complex code changes for specific business requirements
  • Analyzes business needs and develops plans to implement software requirements in conjunction with product management and architects.
  • Independently handles high impact, critical software/systems monitoring issues and tickets/ incidents
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Troubleshoots business and production issues
