About The Position

Backend engineer Node.js experience Database knowledge Design and Development experience Strong mentor Tech leadership experience We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and build enterprise-scale Digital Financial Services platforms. This role is backend-heavy, with strong expectations Node.js distributed systems, while also providing technical leadership for React-based front-end applications.. You will operate as a senior technical leader, driving architecture, system design, and engineering excellence across the full stack. Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in Node and backend development
  • Experience building distributed, microservices-based systems
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event streaming
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs
  • Solid understanding of system design, concurrency, and data modeling
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Skilled in debugging, defect management, and performance troubleshooting to ensure high availability and maintainability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and collaborative mindset.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area

Responsibilities

  • Drive architecture and design decisions for GraphQL APIs, Node.js, Rust services and platforms that power critical applications.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js ,Rust,typescript and GraphQL(Apollo Federation ), with experience designing and scaling production GraphQL services.
  • Build event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
  • Define API contracts (REST / GraphQL) between front-end and backend services
  • Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Drive technical standards for coding, testing, CI/CD, and observability
  • Partner with product, UX, data, and platform teams
  • Guide and mentor senior and mid-level engineers, raising the overall technical bar of the team.
  • Champion CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, and incident response practices.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and influencing technical direction at the organizational level.
  • Develop and maintain React + TypeScript front-end applications
