A fast-growing, profitable product startup is hiring a Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer to help scale a modern commerce platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who operates with strong ownership, ships quickly, and cares deeply about product quality and user experience. The company operates in a large, under-digitized commerce category and is building infrastructure that simplifies complex transactions and logistics through both a direct product and developer API platform. The product is already used by major enterprise customers and is entering a new phase of aggressive growth.

Requirements

5+ years building full-stack web applications
Strong experience with React and modern backend development
Experience building complex SPA applications and scalable APIs
Demonstrated ownership of complex projects from design through production
Ability to balance speed, quality, and reliability
Strong product mindset and attention to UX details

Responsibilities

Own a core product domain end-to-end (architecture through delivery)
Design and build scalable full-stack features across web applications and APIs
Help scale a platform supporting complex multi-party transactions and real-world logistics workflows
Contribute to developer-facing APIs and platform expansion initiatives
Partner closely with a small, senior engineering team with high autonomy
Make meaningful architectural decisions with direct business impact
