Position: Staff Software Engineer, Finance Technology Job Location: 1 Customer Dr, Mail Stop# 0215, Bentonville, AR, 72716 Duties: Gather and refine requirements from the clients and end user by conducting design workshop sessions. Assist in designing the most efficient solution using the latest capabilities of finance technology solutions / software’s. Simplify the complex business requirements to make the system as efficient as possible by simplifying the process, eliminate manual steps etc. Understand the pain points and challenges users are facing with existing finance technology systems. Identify process / business processes that are labor intensive and have define steps to automate the processes by enhancing the technical capabilities of the finance technology solutions. Work with developers in developing and improving the software systems to leveraging up to date technical capabilities and user experience to the end user. Create and maintain the product backlog and user acceptance criteria using software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, HP ALM etc. Mange Go-live of finance technology solutions, work with business to perform business cutover steps, complete technical cutover steps, migration of transactions from legacy to new finance technology solutions etc. Work with business team throughout the solution development period to take feedback for any GAPS in the processes that were not captured during the design. Plan and direct the work of other IT professionals, including software developers, software testers, test automation engineers, security analysts, integration teams etc. Work with finance technology business users and engineering team to develop and validate the product roadmap and target dates based on prioritization and resource availability. Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.
  • Must have experience with: SAP Finance Module Configuration, development, testing skills in General Ledger Area, Asset accounting, Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable Area
  • ABAP coding to debug and analysis of root cause analysis
  • Configuration, mapping and cross module integration of SAP FICO processes with Materials management and Sales and Distribution
  • SAP BRF add on setup and configuration of business rules
  • SAP FIORI applications launch and for processing business transactions and reporting requirements
  • EDI setup for Accounts payable process
  • Configuring and setup APP - automatic payment program to enable supplier payments
  • Defining and setup FSV - financial statement version to support reporting of yearly financial statements
  • SAP Migration cockpit
  • Month-end and year end closing
  • Product cost planning and calculation through SAP Product costing tools and functionalities
  • New GL functionality, financial statement version setup
  • SAP controlling configuration and customization
  • SAP tax procedures setup, configuration and customization.
