Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack
About The Position
Acts as a project or system leader, coordinating the activities of other engineers on the project or within the system Determines the technical tasks that other engineers will follow Actions result in the achievement of customer, operational, program or service objectives Proactively improves existing structures & processes Exercises judgement in reconciling diverse and competing priorities (time, quality, complexity risk) to identify optimal solutions to problems Notices patterns and condenses repetition into densely meaningful generalized solutions Collaborates with management to set/improve standards for engineering rigor As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will: Define and execute the Full Stack technology strategy. Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation. Deliver high-quality Full Stack solutions that meet business objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 8+ years of Full Stack development experience.
- Proficient in developing high-performance, secure, and scalable back-end applications, with a strong understanding of deployment methods and various database technologies
- Demonstrated expertise in large-scale software architecture and development
- Strong object-oriented programming skills, particularly in Java/J2EE
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and multiple frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL, Oracle
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to and understanding of NoSQL databases and microservices architecture is a plus
