About The Position

CyberArk is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Management team, focused on building frontend platform experiences that enable visibility, control, and orchestration of machine identities at scale. In this role, you will design and develop modern, data-driven user interfaces that surface complex backend systems, workflows, and integrations in a clear and usable way. You will work closely with backend, platform, and product teams to build scalable frontend architecture that supports high-volume, real-time and near real-time data interactions. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building frontend systems that sit on top of complex distributed platforms, with a focus on usability, performance, and system clarity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of frontend or full-stack software development experience
  • Strong experience building frontend applications using React and TypeScript
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
  • Experience building data-intensive or workflow-driven user interfaces
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization
  • Experience working in distributed systems environments (consuming complex backend services)
  • Ability to translate complex technical systems into clear and usable UI
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GraphQL and modern API patterns
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with identity or security-related systems (PKI, certificates, authentication)

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable frontend applications using modern frameworks (React, TypeScript)
  • Develop data-rich interfaces that visualize system state, workflows, and platform activity
  • Collaborate with backend teams to define and consume APIs (REST, GraphQL)
  • Contribute to frontend architecture, including state management, performance optimization, and component design
  • Build reusable UI components and design systems that support consistency across the platform
  • Work closely with product and design to translate complex technical workflows into intuitive user experiences
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend performance issues, especially in data-heavy or real-time interfaces
  • Drive improvements in frontend development practices, testing, and CI/CD workflows

Benefits

  • The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
