About The Position

The California Department of Insurance (CDI) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Services Analyst to join our team. This dynamic role involves performing in-depth analyses, managing multiple responsibilities, and skillfully organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet critical deadlines. Under the supervision of the Supervising Special Investigator II, (Regional Supervising Investigator), Investigation Division, or designee, the incumbent performs work of average difficulty in a wide variety of consultative and analytical staff services assignments such as program evaluation and planning, budgeting, planning, training, and personnel analysis, and other related work. Tasks include preparing draft monthly and quarterly reports, database management, contract preparation, budgetary projections, research, trend analysis, statistical analysis, evidence tracking, and public liaison with allied and public agencies.
