Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct independent and collaborative research projects focused on musculoskeletal tissue development, regeneration, and disease modeling.
  • Perform advanced bioinformatics analyses, including transcriptomic, single-cell, and spatial omics data interpretation to support mechanistic discoveries.
  • Manage daily laboratory operations, including experimental design, data management, and compliance with institutional and safety protocols.
  • Oversee and execute musculoskeletal histology, immunohistochemistry, and imaging studies to evaluate tissue architecture and cellular dynamics.
  • Supervise and mentor PhD students, junior postdoctoral fellows, and research staff, fostering an inclusive, productive, and scientifically rigorous environment.
  • Contribute to manuscript preparation, grant writing, and dissemination of findings at national and international meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and engineering teams to integrate multi-scale biological and computational data.
