We are currently hiring for a Staff Ride Coordinator for the 2026 Thailand Staff Ride, set to take place November 9-13. This is one of the most rewarding career experiences at Backroads – we promise! We are looking for someone who is excited to plan the most unique and fun company event in the universe. The Staff Ride Team Lead will work closely with the Staff Ride Specialist, Jason Stawiski, to plan and execute everything Staff Ride. This includes working with local vendors, finding restaurants and venues, route planning, and overall itinerary creation. As Staff Ride Coordinator you will also Lead Staff Ride. Ascent: the SR Coordinator will need to enter all the trip details into the Ascent database so that information on vendors, services, rates, and terms can be accessed by the Supplier Ops and Rooming teams, who will generate contracts and send guest list and other information to vendors. You will work in tandem to finalize contracts with all vendors well in advance of the trip, ensuring smooth logistics and that all payments from our Finance team go out on time. The role will start immediately. We estimate there to be approximately 100-150 hours of work prior to Staff Ride itself. A lot of the work will come in spring, but you will need to be able to put time in throughout the summer, and it gets busier in the month leading to Staff Ride.
