This position exists to support the core research operations of the lab and ensure that multiple ongoing studies run smoothly and efficiently. The role manages key operational functions—including data management, study coordination, regulatory compliance, and preparation of research products—that enable day-to-day lab activity. Responsibilities include maintaining study databases, coordinating meetings and staff schedules, facilitating data requests and transfers, and overseeing administrative workflows. The position also maintains IRB/CHR submissions and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance for all human subjects research. In addition, the role helps clean, prepare and analyze data, generates figures and tables, and contributes to manuscripts and abstracts. Overall, this position serves as the central support for study operations across multiple observational research projects in the lab. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $26.00 - $31.04 (Hourly Rate).
