About The Position

The Staff Radiology Technologist is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist. This role requires demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit, including knowledge of growth and development principles across the life span. The individual must be able to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret information to identify each patient's requirements. Requirements

Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
Connecticut State Licensure.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
Registry eligible candidates must pass ARRT exam within 90 days of hire.

Associates Degree preferred.
