POSITION SUMMARY: Produces radiographic and diagnostic studies using a variety of imaging modalities under the clinical supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist and a Radiologist. Evaluates quality of radiographic images. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations. EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS. TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: Minimum Required: Senior status in a formal Radiography program and eligible to take the exam for accreditation (to be completed within six months of program completion) . BCLS certified. ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication and technical practice relevant to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Incumbent must demonstrate competence in the use of equipment and application of procedures before being allowed to perform independently.
