About The Position

As a Staff Quality Engineer within the Prior Authorization Quality Engineering team (MCSE tower), you will be responsible for ensuring that strategic initiatives and projects belonging to the CAS application are delivered with high quality and on time. You will diligently follow QA processes during project execution and play a vital role in strategic projects by collaborating with stakeholders (PO, Business Owners, Clients), leading discussions, and demonstrating the value of QA. Additionally, you will actively mentor team members and monitor their project execution. A successful candidate must possess strong communication skills, think and act strategically, establish trust, and build relationships with project stakeholders and team members.

Requirements

10+ Years of experience in creating testing strategies (End to End) for projects following iterative and agile methodologies
5+ years of experience in leading projects in Prior Authorization platform with strong domain knowledge
Experience of implementing various automation framework based on keyword, data-driven and BDD approach
Expert in QA methodology and principles, tools, processes, and metrics
Solid knowledge of software and hardware systems and a solid understanding of the potential use of technology solutions in a business environment
Strong project management skills, demand and capacity management, project and program coordination, executive reporting and risk management
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills in articulating business objectives
Independent decision-making and excellent analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle and methodologies such as Scrum, Agile and iterative development
QA tools such as Rally and JIRA
Advanced knowledge of QA Automation tools/technology and leveraging AI in software testing
Strong delegation skills involving prioritizing and managing projects of various size and complexity
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage pressure and multiple priorities successfully
Must be a team player
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required
One additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained

Nice To Haves

8+ years of Experience of Integrating test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation
Ability or participate in continuous improvement initiatives or best practices to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality using AI
Build stakeholder relationships
Manage expectations and communicating effectively with business units, IT cross-functional teams, Project Management and other support staff
