About The Position

You will be the Staff Quality Engineer for the Sniper program. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality aerospace solutions. What You Will Be Doing As the Staff Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across the Sniper program, ensuring that every product meets rigorous standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Review documentation related to manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards. Support Integrated Product Teams with analysis of quality data, yields, rework, and non‑conformance. Lead corrective action meetings, identify trends, and drive resolution. Participate in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards to disposition non‑conforming hardware. Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance with ISO‑9001/AS9100 and engineering specifications. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM , with 9 years or more of professional experience; 7 years professional experience with a related Master's degree, or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation.
  • Root Cause & corrective action implementation experience
  • Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
  • Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with strong skills in AS9100 certification and compliance requirements
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material (Material Review Board).
  • Thorough understanding of engineering requirements and inspection methods for production activities
  • Experience solving complex problems associated with the quality of products
  • Ability to travel
  • Must have the ability to obtain a secret level clearance

  • Experience working Government customers and stakeholders
  • An understanding of LMP2P / SAP / Apriso to support business operations,
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
  • Thorough understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
