About The Position

As a Staff Product Manager - MarTech, you will lead the evolution of Sam's Club's marketing technology ecosystem. You'll identify opportunities to streamline workflows, accelerate time-to-market, and improve ROI through innovation, data integration, and intelligent automation. This includes leveraging Generative AI for audience insights, campaign optimization, content creation, and performance measurement. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized, omnichannel marketing experiences that enhance engagement and drive member-centric growth. Requirements

  • Proven experience in MarTech product management and omnichannel marketing strategies.
  • Strong technical fluency in data platforms, AI applications, and marketing automation tools.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, MVP development, and iterative optimization.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for innovation, personalization, and data-driven marketing.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years' experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 9 years' experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a long-term vision for MarTech capabilities aligned with business goals.
  • Explore new areas for value creation using first principles and rapid experimentation.
  • Roadmap & Execution: Build and own a product roadmap with clear phasing and prioritization.
  • Manage backlog, trade-offs, and MVP rollouts to optimize product performance.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Apply analytics and research to inform product strategy and feature development.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance using modern data tools and techniques.
  • Customer-Centric Design: Map member journeys and identify touchpoints to deliver cohesive experiences.
  • Simplify processes to improve satisfaction and engagement.
  • Technology Leadership: Drive informed discussions with engineering teams on architecture, feasibility, and risks.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in MarTech, AI, and cloud technologies.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Build consensus across marketing, engineering, and data teams.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Domain Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of MarTech ecosystems, including: Marketing automation Audience building platforms Content management systems Experimentation platforms Member data platforms Media mix modeling
