Position: Staff Product Manager Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 Duties: Define product vision and strategy, key product metrics for success, and detailed product roadmaps across all of Walmart's global markets for the cart and checkout (CXO) space. Identify new investment opportunities through user surveys, market research, and competitive analysis in cutting-edge purchase technology and eCommerce. Drive decisions with data-backed insights derived from statistical analysis on big data. Conduct advanced financial impact analysis for new CXO initiatives and communicate them to leadership in a way that drives investment among other competing priorities. Provide lean startup thinking to drive consumer research on new omnichannel CXO customer experiences and features via techniques such as usability testing, observational studies, and surveys. Drive rapid prototyping with tools such as InVision, Figma, Javascript, and Adobe. Devise technology platform strategy to power purchase and CXO services and platforms across Walmart. Specify, prioritize, and communicate complex product requirements to all stakeholders, and drive execution through modern agile development processes with tools such as Kanban, Scrum, and Jira. Drive launch strategy of new features and migrations to new platforms at scale, while measuring causal impact with controlled experiments. Track post-launch metrics at scale across large, distributed database systems to ensure new features, platforms, and operational processes work as designed. Coach and mentor other product managers within the Operations domain. Devise ways to structure teams within the CXO platforms space and create ways of working that maximize efficiency and effectiveness. This position supervises one employee (Corporate Intern, Product Associate). Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related area and 7 years of experience in product management. Requirements

  • Experience defining product vision, strategy, product metrics, and detailed product roadmaps.
  • Experience identifying new investment opportunities through user surveys, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Experience driving decisions with data-backed insights derived from advanced statistical analysis including econometrics and machine-learning.
  • Experience conducting advanced financial impact analysis on Return on Investment and communicating findings to leaders to drive investment decisions.
  • Experience with lean startup to drive consumer research using usability testing, observational studies, and surveys.
  • Experience driving rapid prototyping with InVision, Figma, Javascript, and Adobe.
  • Experience devising technology platform strategies and solutions using microservices and API-driven design.
  • Experience specifying, prioritizing, and communicating complex product requirements to power agile development processes with Kanban, Scrum, and Jira.
  • Experience driving product strategy and measuring causal impact using A/B testing, Expo, GCP, or econometric methods.
  • Experience tracking post-launch metrics at scale across large, distributed database systems.
  • Experience coaching colleagues across a team.
  • Experience devising ways to structure teams and maximizing efficiency and effectiveness using domain-driven design, agile methodology, and balanced scorecard framework.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related area and 7 years of experience in product management.
