About The Position

The Staff Nurse provides care to patients and their families in the ambulatory
care setting based on standards of nursing practice. Assesses patients,
develops nursing care plan for treating actual or potential health problems, and
provides education and counseling; delegates tasks when necessary.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as Registered Nurse in an ambulatory care clinical setting.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Ability to assess and reassess patients.
• Ability to perform assigned point of care testing (ex. Glucometer)
• Computer application skills – ALLSCRIPTS and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited colleges or universities – HIGHLY PREFERRED
