Staff Nurse [Birthing Center/LDL]
About The Position
SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family. Accountable for the care of patients within an assigned unit, and coordinates care planning with other disciplines As a member of our clinical care team, you will have the opportunity to work with your Nurse Manager to identify career development opportunities including (but not limited to), championing quality initiatives, participating in committees, and training to charge and/or precept.
Requirements
- Graduate from a nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer
- NRP upon completion of orientation
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Recent OB experience
- Maternal/Newborn nursing (RNC-MNN)
- Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB)
- Low-risk neonatal (RNC-LRN)
- Lactation (IBCLC)
