RN, Imaging Services Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and Radiology Supervisor, the IR Nurse coordinates comprehensive professional nursing care to patients of all ages, genders and cultures; working collaboratively with providers and multidisciplinary team members in maintaining standards for professional nurse practice in a diagnostics imaging setting. The RN will prepare patients and family members for procedures (i.e. Biopsy, vein ablation, IV, infusaports, medications, monitor vitals, suction patients, catheterization, sedation and recovery of patients for procedures) and other diagnostic related services.

Requirements

  • Current RN license recognized by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing
  • One year work-related experience or equivalent in Intensive Care Unit, Critical Care Unit, or Emergency Department
