About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns at NYP/Weill Cornell is a state-of-the-art facility providing exceptional, individualized care to pregnant women and their newborns. Located on the top six floors of the NewYork-Presbyterian David H. Koch Center, the hospital features 75 antepartum and postpartum rooms, each private, to promote privacy, family bonding, and comfort. The Labor and Delivery Unit offers obstetric services for all types of deliveries, specialized medical and nursing staff, advanced technologies, and 24-hour obstetric anesthesiology services. Patients are evaluated in individual triage rooms, and there are sixteen birthing rooms equipped with multi-positioned birthing beds and state-of-the-art monitoring and delivery equipment. Five operating rooms, including one with a portable CT scanner, allow multidisciplinary teams to perform complex procedures and routine cesarean deliveries. The hospital aims to be a destination for comprehensive, individualized, coordinated, and seamless care, with multidisciplinary obstetric and neonatal teams from Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian working collaboratively to treat complex maternal-fetal and newborn conditions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
New York State RN License
BCLS and NRP Certifications
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Women’s Health

Nice To Haves

2 years of RN experience in Women’s Health
EFM Certification
