As a key member of the Global Manufacturing Engineering Team, the Staff Manufacturing Engineer position involves leading Design for Manufacturing (DFM) studies, collaborating with vendors on new die builds, and overseeing critical activities such as simulation reviews, die layout and die design evaluation, manufacturing progress tracking, buyoff and homeline support. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in forming and die build with strong problem-solving abilities, cross-functional collaboration and project leadership skills to deliver world-class stamped parts at scale. Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) studies by conducting / reviewing forming simulations and working closely with Studio / Engineering Design team Collaborate with vendors on new die builds – Reviewing simulation, Die Process, Die Design,Manufacturing, Buyoff & Homelining Provides technical input for planning and installation of new equipment Works with materials team on planning for new programs and addressing quality investigations Work with vendors to ensure quality, performance and delivery targets are achieved prior to die shipping Manage project schedules, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure all necessary activities are in place to meet deadlines Collaborate with internal cross-functional team for discussions and planning of new programs
