About The Position

The Staff Kids Care Teachers supervise, nurture, and care for children of the Life Church staff for the fall, spring and summer semesters. Teachers engage with the children while providing a safe, fun, and educational environment.

Responsibilities

Report supply needs to lead teacher in the assigned classroom
Follow flow and schedule of the assigned classroom
Communicate with Direct Report and Secondary Report about the needs and health of your area
Assist Lead Teacher with implementing curricula for assigned classroom that stimulate children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth
Assist Kids Life Team with other special events and projects
Nurture and care for children while parents are at work or school
Perform good hand-washing techniques for disease and infection control
Ensure children have adequate supplies from home such as diapers, extra clothes, lunch. etc.
Prepare children for school
Provide for a child’s basic needs including comforting children when they are crying and determining cause of distress
Report behavior to parents each day
Follows The Life Church Kids Life standards while staff children are in their care
