Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of groundwater and soil vapor principles and environmental regulations
  • Ability to use field equipment and interpret basic hydrogeologic data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration
  • Generally work in both office and field settings
  • May require frequent travel to various field sites
  • May involve exposure to varying weather conditions and rough terrain
  • May involve occasional lifting of equipment and materials

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field investigations to collect environmental samples, oversee drilling operations, install groundwater monitoring wells, and collect groundwater-related data
  • oversee soil vapor investigations
  • Analysis of basic hydrogeological data using various techniques
  • Prepare detailed reports and maps to present findings and recommendations
  • Monitor groundwater levels and quality, and assess the impact of human activities on groundwater resources
  • Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals on multidisciplinary projects
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
  • Provide technical support for groundwater remediation and water resource management projects
