About The Position

Performs all technical and clerical functions in the histology section according to established operating procedures. The technician is responsible to embed, microtomy, H&E stain, frozen section preparation and process special stains for tissue sections.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Medical Lab Technology, Histology, Science or related field or Graduate of a Histology Certificate Program Required
• 1 year experience as a Histotechnician Required

Nice To Haves

• Amer Soc Clinical Pathology Preferred
