This role supports a rapidly growing and increasingly complex business, with primary responsibility for inventory, cost, and operational finance. This is a high-visibility role for a strong finance generalist who can flex across planning, reporting, modeling, and strategic analysis as business needs evolve. You will partner cross-functionally to deliver insights that drive operational and financial decision-making in one of AMD’s most dynamic growth areas. THE PERSON The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. You bring strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. You continuously look for ways to improve processes, enhance reporting, and elevate decision support.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in FP&A, cost, inventory, or operational finance (technology or manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar analytics tools is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and large, complex datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • MBA, CFA, and/or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance financial models to support forecasting, planning, and business decisions
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Accounting to provide timely, actionable financial insights
  • Support monthly close, variance analysis, and management reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to address emerging business needs
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting standardization
  • Support audit and compliance requirements as needed
