About The Position

A Financial Data Analyst supports the Finance organization through advanced data modeling, dashboard development, and process automation. This role will focus on building scalable reporting solutions, improving data integrity in the ERP system and enabling actionable insights through tools such as Power BI and Alteryx. Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support financial and operational reporting Develop scalable data models and ensure consistent metric definitions across reports. Translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations and actionable insights. Partner with Commercial, Accounting, and Operations to deliver self-service reporting solutions. Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows (or similar tools) to automate manual processes Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial processes. Standardize data flows and eliminate redundant or manual reporting activities Serve as a key liaison between Finance and IT for ERP-related data structures and reporting. Maintain and improve data hierarchies (customer, products, GL accounts, etc.). Ensure data consistency across systems and reporting layers. Troubleshoot data issues and drive root cause resolution. Support development of standardized reporting packages (e.g., revenue, margin, inventory, working capital). Establish and document data definitions, business rules, and reporting logic. Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support financial and operational reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, information systems, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial systems or data analytics role
  • Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Datacor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Understanding of financial data (P&L, balance sheet, working capital)
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power Query, or data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with data governance and master data management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing or chemical industry preferred.
