Job Code: A011.5812 Job Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Type: Full-Time Rate of Pay: $148,242 - $155,652 Job Duties: Serve as Lead Development Engineer on New Product Development projects for Endomechanical R&D. Serve as key liaison between design team, quality, supply chain, planning and external sites to develop and launch a product into the marketplace. Direct and coordinate all activities pertaining to development engineering. Develop strategy for component development, device assembly, packaging, and sterilization. Assess resource needs and timing to develop product through all phases, as well as all risks to project and product, including communicating to and partnering with Project Management (PM) Managers. Influence selection of sites and suppliers. Ensure PM COE resources fulfill all technical and procedural requirements. Provide performance feedback to PM COE resources and other team members. Mentor associates in career development. Communicate project updates and risks to management. Participate in customer interface events throughout entire lifecycle of product. Participate as expert witness in legal proceedings as needed. Consult on lifecycle engineering for design, manufacturing, and quality issues. Ensure PM COE capabilities and standardizations are current, appropriate, and effective. May work at various unanticipated locations throughout U.S., including El Paso, TX.

Requirements

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering, or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a Staff Engineer, Site Program Leader-related occupation.
