Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering, geology, or science related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of products
  • Able to conduct some fieldwork with heavy lifting
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field activities, including collecting samples of various environmental media (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and air)
  • Participate in environmental investigation programs, including Phase l/ll Environmental Site Assessments
  • Invoice/budget preparation and budget tracking
  • Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
  • Evaluate environmental regulations
  • Prepare environmental reports
  • Contractor liaison/oversight for investigation and remedial programs
  • Problem-solving using standard engineering / scientific methods
  • Coordinate project tasks, implementing fieldwork, and participating in remedial design efforts
  • Demonstrate effective analytical, interpretive, time, and project management skills
