About The Position

Unify is redefining go-to-market with AI. As the technical leader of our Growth Engineering pod, you'll own the systems and experiments that drive user acquisition, activation, and expansion. You'll lead an elite team of engineers while partnering directly with the founders and GTM leaders to build the infrastructure that turns Unify's product-led motion into a compounding growth engine, setting the technical vision for experimentation, funnel optimization, and self-serve experiences that scale.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack capability, including 3+ years focused on growth, experimentation, or PLG infrastructure.
  • Experience leading teams or pods; setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and driving execution on high-velocity experiment cycles.
  • Deep expertise building experimentation systems, including feature flagging, audience segmentation, event instrumentation, and statistical analysis pipelines.
  • Strong full-stack skills (TypeScript or similar) with a track record of shipping polished, conversion-optimized user experiences.
  • Proficiency with analytics infrastructure; event tracking, funnel analysis, and SQL-based reporting that gives the business real-time visibility.
  • Data-driven mindset with solid understanding of A/B testing methodology, statistical significance, and experiment design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth pod: Manage and mentor engineers, setting priorities, and unblocking work while staying hands-on with code yourself.
  • Own the growth stack: Design and build experimentation infrastructure, feature flagging, and analytics pipelines that enable rapid iteration on acquisition and activation funnels.
  • Drive measurable impact: Partner with Product, Marketing, and GTM to identify high-leverage growth opportunities, run rigorous experiments, and ship features that move conversion, retention, and expansion metrics.
  • Build self-serve experiences: Create frictionless onboarding flows, trial experiences, and upgrade paths that let customers discover value quickly and expand on their own.
  • Instrument everything: Establish event tracking, funnel analytics, and attribution systems that give the business real-time visibility into what's working.
  • Set the bar for growth engineering: Define best practices for experimentation rigor, statistical significance, and iterating on learnings—building a culture of data-driven product development.
