2d$130,000 - $210,000

About The Position

Red Ventures Home helps partners across the home services ecosystem—telecom, security, energy, and home automation—unlock sustainable growth through proprietary distribution, data platforms, AI-enabled applications, and strategic partnerships. We're hiring a Senior / Staff AI Engineer to transform how we build and deliver software. This role is primarily focused on building agentic workflows and AI-first development practices that fundamentally change delivery speed, quality, and team effectiveness. You'll work alongside the teams that will use these capabilities to ship production AI solutions for consumer-facing digital and call-center experiences. Over the past year, we've proven that agentic workflows can materially change how solutions are delivered. We're now scaling that approach and need a deeply technical, hands-on engineer who thinks like a founder: someone who reimagines processes, builds the systems that enable change, and drives adoption across teams.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience building production AI/ML systems
  • Proven ability to architect modular, scalable AI solutions
  • Strong Python proficiency; solid JavaScript/TypeScript experience
  • Production experience with LLM applications (OpenAI, Anthropic APIs)
  • Experience building inside of agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith
  • Experience with agent orchestration and automation tools (MCPs)
  • Experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow)
  • Understanding of traditional ML and how it complements generative AI
  • Experience scaling platforms or practices across teams

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement agentic workflows that materially reduce delivery time and cognitive load
  • Build reusable accelerators, templates, and shared services for engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts
  • Apply orchestration tools (LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, MCPs, n8n) with judgment—knowing where agents add leverage and where simpler solutions win
  • Define and evangelize AI-first development practices across teams
  • Leverage AI-enabled development environments (Cursor, Windsurf) and establish best practices for human + AI collaboration
  • Drive measurable step-changes in team velocity and consistency
  • Architect and Build LLM- and ML-powered solutions supporting digital journeys, call-center workflows, decisioning, and personalization
  • Develop end-to-end systems using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript (optionally Go)
  • Partner with Data Science to integrate generative AI with traditional ML (classification, regression)
  • Build AI-enabled interfaces using modern web stacks (React, Next.js, TypeScript)
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and observability
  • Design modular, reusable AI systems that scale across clients and use cases
  • Build and operate production LLM systems, including RAG and agent-based architectures
  • Use Databricks for AI development (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow)
  • Apply strong engineering discipline: Git workflows, code reviews, TDD, CI/CD
  • Mentor engineers and shape shared standards, patterns, and documentation

Benefits

  • Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Life Insurance
  • Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Holiday Pay
  • 401(k) with match
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid Parental Bonding Benefit Program
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential. That’s why we offer a generous and flexible PTO policy. Full-time employees accrue 20 days of PTO for a full calendar year annually, with an increase to 25 days after five years of service.
