General Motors is driving the transformation of the automotive industry through electrification, central compute platforms, and advanced autonomous technologies. The Compute & Connectivity Hardware team leads the electrical design and integration of next-generation ECUs supporting GM’s Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture. We are seeking an experienced Staff Electronics Component Library Hardware Engineer to serve as the technical leader for GM’s electronic component library. This role is responsible for establishing best-in-class processes, creating and approving schematic symbols and PCB footprints, and building a scalable, high-quality library infrastructure that supports global hardware development. You will play a critical role in increasing component creation throughput, elevating library standards, and serving as a key bridge between the GM Component Library and future PLM systems.
