What you will do In this position you will work under minimal supervision, apply advanced skills while relying on moderate to extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals and solve complex problems. You will assist in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of technical/ business support employees. This position may expand to include inventory oversight and project coordination responsibilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Project and Auto Cad.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship U is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • 5+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
  • Experience with AC/DC power distribution systems
  • Ability to work independently in a production-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Active Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
  • Experience with ESD grounding systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Experience with AutoCAD

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, & repair generators, UPS systems, transfer switches, switchgear, and transformers.
  • Troubleshoot and service single-phase and three-phase systems including 480/277V, 120/208V, 400 Hz, and 28VDC
  • Diagnose electrical faults and restore systems with minimal production downtime
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety policies
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance and emergency response for electrical and general building Issues as required
