About The Position

We are seeking a Staff or Director‑level Product Manager to lead the definition, productization, and commercialization of an Ethernet product portfolio spanning physical layer (PHY and multi‑PHY), Ethernet controllers/NICs, and Ethernet switching platforms. This role owns end‑to‑end portfolio strategy across both hardware and software, including silicon capabilities, system integration, platform software, manageability, and ecosystem enablement. The position operates with significant autonomy and executive visibility, shaping multi‑generation roadmaps and acting as the single point of accountability for product direction, business outcomes, and market success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end strategy, roadmap, and commercialization of Ethernet product portfolio spanning PHY, multi‑PHY, NIC, and Ethernet switching platforms.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for product direction across hardware, firmware, system architecture, and software enablement, ensuring cohesive silicon‑to‑system solutions.
  • Define multi‑generation product roadmaps, including performance tiers, feature segmentation, SKU strategy, lifecycle planning, and integration across portfolio components.
  • Lead system‑level product definition, translating market and customer requirements into silicon capabilities, platform software expectations, and reference architectures.
  • Serve as the executive voice of the customer, engaging directly with hyperscalers, OEMs, enterprise, and service‑provider customers to shape requirements and capture early design‑in commitments.
  • Drive architecture‑level trade‑offs across performance, power, cost, programmability, and time‑to‑market in close partnership with silicon and software architecture teams.
  • Own the business case and commercialization model, including TAM/SAM framing, pricing and packaging strategy, margin targets, and long‑term revenue forecasts.
  • Define and execute go‑to‑market strategy in collaboration with sales, marketing, and business development, including positioning, launch readiness, customer sampling, and field enablement.
  • Lead cross‑functional execution across silicon design, platform software, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, and ecosystem partners—without direct authority.
  • Influence portfolio investment and prioritization decisions at the executive level, shaping where the company competes and how it differentiates in Ethernet infrastructure markets.
  • Represent the product portfolio in executive reviews, customer roadmap sessions, and industry forums, articulating a clear and differentiated Ethernet vision.
