Staff Development Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm with flexibility to meet program needs A Day in the Life of Staff Development Coordinator: Under the direction of the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer, develops, implements and oversees staff education that aligns with organizational goals, mission and vision. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory training requirements as they pertain to agency programs. Coordinates training mandates, monitors compliance and communicates outcomes with management and HR. Develops and maintains annual training plan/schedule. Coordinates all training to include but not limited to new employee orientation, supervisor orientation, annual refreshers, etc.,. Maintains agency training database. Evaluates current training curriculums and policies and/or develops new training curriculum and policies as needed, per regulatory requirements, and as directed by the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer. Orders classroom supplies and maintains training classroom, resource materials and equipment. Partners with Human Resources and program management to assess and analyze learning needs based on organizational results and priorities, performance metrics, job requirements and plans and forecasts. Oversees the design, development and implementation of the organizational wide learning and talent development programs, projects and initiatives. Assess effectiveness of current programs, conducts needs analysis and identifies process improvements in collaboration with agency programs. Provides trending reports to program management and Human Resources including, but not limited to attendance, training history and issues of non-compliance. Serves as an agency instructor. Maintains current list of agency instructors. Recruits and trains new instructors as needed. Ensures required certifications are maintained and provides instructor training and observation/feedback as needed. Serves as the Arc Wayne representative for the Collaborative Training Team, and other internal and external committees as assigned by the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer.
