About The Position
Plaza Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Development Assistant to support our Director of Staff Development in training, onboarding, and compliance initiatives. This role is ideal for a current or former Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who has experience in education, administration, and working closely with staff to ensure excellence in patient care.
Requirements
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Experience assisting with staff education or training programs
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating and conducting staff training, orientations, and in-services
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including tracking required documentation and compliance
- Maintain accurate training records
- Prepare training materials, presentations, and reports
- Monitor and track certifications, licenses, and continuing education requirements
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Staff Development department
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- Present information to small and large groups in a professional and engaging manner
