About The Position

As the Staff Data & Information Architect, you will be responsible for multiple software projects as a project leader or internal consultant. You will work on highly complex software projects that require in-depth domain knowledge or two or more specialized architecture areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience SQL and data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Power BI and Tableau.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years' experience required for any role based within the USA.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

  • Able to produce functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of full solution catalog within a business unit and proficiency in discussing each area at an advanced level.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent quality certification
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization
  • Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.
  • Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Support, develop, and own site-level data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across large-scale manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Design, build, implement, and maintain data pipelines, models, analytics, and visualizations supporting key performance indicators (KPIs) including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all data-related activities at the site, working closely with business users, operations, engineering, and leadership
  • Translate business processes and requirements into practical, scalable, and sustainable data solutions
  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to support analytics, reporting, and operational insights
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Spotfire to support informed decision-making
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight, taking ownership of solutions from concept through implementation and ongoing support
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, reliability, security, and compliance with organizational policies and standards
  • Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines, models, dashboards, and processes
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to data workflows, analytics processes, and tooling
  • Participates in the data domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
  • Assists in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap, design pattern, and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Supports the development data and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
  • Researches and evaluates emerging data technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
