Position Summary The Contract Specialist is responsible for supporting the end-to-end contract lifecycle. This role partners closely with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure contracts are structured appropriately, compliant with company policies, and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement, or legal operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Contract analysis and negotiation.
  • Risk awareness and compliance mindset.
  • Process improvement orientation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a regulated or global environment.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
  • Experience partnering with Legal and Procurement teams.
  • Understanding of worker classification considerations (consulting vs. staff augmentation).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Software, SAAS, and Information Technology Contracts and Licensing agreements experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct contract structures are used based on engagement type (e.g., consulting, staff augmentation, managed services).
  • Support intake, review, and approval processes for new and amended contracts.
  • Collaborate with Legal to address risk, compliance, and regulatory considerations.
  • Partner with Procurement and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on commercial terms, scope, and deliverables.
  • Track contract status, renewals, expirations, and key obligations.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and metadata in contract management systems.
  • Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives related to contracting processes.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contracting standards, timelines, and requirements.
