About The Position
DuBois & King, Inc is seeking a Civil Staff Engineer with approximately 0-5 years of experience. This is a full-time engineering position with full benefits in our busy and growing Rutland, Vermont office, with an ideal start date of May or early June. This position would support our Public Works division, with projects in water resources, water- and storm-water engineer, civil engineering, public infrastructure, and more.
Requirements
- 0-5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred
Responsibilities
- Learning key engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS programs/conventions.
- Assist in the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies, planning, and design projects.
- Provide conceptual, preliminary, and final design civil engineering support for all divisions.
- These tasks are likely to include: investigation, research, calculations, evaluation of alternatives, and design development on a variety of projects.
