Role Overview The Coupang Corner Stone team in tech infrastructure organization, takes charge of company-wide transaction data storage and common data service layer to materialize e-commerce data for low latency reading. The team manages two statefull critical services - UUID generator and data materialization service, and eight storage services including five self-host databases like Cassandra, Elastic Search, MySQL, Vitess and Clickhouse, and three AWS managed services like Aurora, DynamoDB and DocumentDB. We are looking for a technical leader for the team to oversee the 10 critical services and build the next generation of transactional data storage as a service solution. You are the leader in driving across teams' tech initiatives and leading engineers to deliver the results. You can proactively identify the system issues, propose solutions, and socialize ideas with stakeholders. You can resolve challenging technical issues and build consensus on the direction and solution. You follow the latest technology and introduce the best industry practice to the company.
