Staff Attorney--Short Term/Part Time
About The Position
The Rue Gilt Groupe legal team is seeking an attorney with multiple years of experience to serve as a Short Term-Part Time Staff Attorney. This position is a part-time role (approximately 10-20 hours/week) for about 6 months (May through December). The Short Term-Part Time Staff Attorney will work closely with Rue Gilt Groupe’s in-house legal team on a wide variety of legal matters. The Short Term-Part Time Staff Attorney will be an integral part of the team, contributing to all aspects of the legal needs of the business. Candidates should be able to work independently, be innovative, pay meticulous attention to detail, and be able to work confidently with guidance from the legal team.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- 4-6 years of experience
- Microsoft - outlook, excel, word, powerpoint
- Google - Docs, slides, sheets
Responsibilities
- Lead the drafting, negotiating and completion of a wide variety of contracts and documents for RGG, such as master services agreements, SaaS agreements, consulting and services agreements, joint promotion agreements, drop ship agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, and marketing agreements
- Provide advice and legal counsel about various matters to RGG’s internal business clients
- Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations affecting RGG’s business
- Address intellectual property matters
