About The Position

This role is designed for a highly skilled engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of workplace technology systems that enhance collaboration, identity management, and AI-enabled productivity. You will architect automation frameworks, integrations, and agentic workflows across enterprise applications while ensuring security, compliance, and reliability. The position blends hands-on technical ownership with cross-functional leadership, including mentoring engineers and partnering with IT, Security, and People teams. You will drive innovation by building reusable tools, SDKs, and AI productivity layers, supporting lifecycle automation for employees and agents alike. Success in this role requires a combination of deep software engineering expertise, experience with SaaS integrations and agentic systems, and the ability to translate complex technical problems into scalable solutions. Autonomy, creativity, and collaboration are essential in this fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of software engineering or automation experience, including building scalable systems, integrations, and agentic workflows
  • Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript (or Apps Script), with experience building production-ready services and agentic systems
  • Deep experience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs, SDKs, and event-driven architectures
  • Familiarity with IAM/SSO systems (Okta, SAML/OIDC/SCIM), lifecycle automation, and embedding governance into workflows
  • Strong skills in observability, monitoring frameworks, and designing for reliability, security, scalability, and cost-efficiency
  • Experience or willingness to work with GenAI/LLM modalities, including agent orchestration, prompt management, and retrieval + RAG pipelines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to guide complex workflow designs across technical and business stakeholders
  • Innovative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, prototyping, and adoption of emerging AI/agent technologies

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and scale automation frameworks, integrations, and agentic workflows across enterprise collaboration, identity, and AI productivity platforms
  • Lead end-to-end engineering of lifecycle workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning
  • Build and maintain reusable libraries, connectors, SDKs, and agent orchestration layers to enable faster, safer AI-enabled productivity
  • Implement observability for workflows: define metrics, dashboards, logging, and alerts, and optimize for reliability, security, and cost-efficiency
  • Collaborate with Security, Legal, Privacy, and cross-functional teams to embed governance, auditing, and compliance into automation flows
  • Mentor junior engineers, review designs and code, and establish best practices for agentic systems and automation culture
  • Drive innovation through prototyping next-generation AI/agent services to improve enterprise productivity and reduce operational friction
