Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in a high-volume environment
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems
  • Knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and month/year-end processes
  • Excellent problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and train others

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports and analyze variances
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
  • Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Help prepare for audits and manage supporting documentation
  • Oversee employee reimbursements and vendor setup
  • Support AP systems (Medius) and audit accounting software (Sage Intacct)
  • Mentor AP/AR team and contribute to process improvements
