About The Position

We are excited to announce that with our growth, we are adding to our finance team! We are looking for an accountant with at least 2 years of experience in enterprise level organization . As a staff accountant, we have a place for you if you are someone who is eager to grow.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years in a Staff Accounting role with high volume
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, SAGE Intact, Oracle)
Experience with double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus!
Experience in Dental Practice Accounting is a plus
Knowledge of private equity accounting is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Perform reconciliations of bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial records
Assist with tax preparation and filing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
