About The Position
We are seeking a contract-to-hire Staff Accountant to support cleanup of account reconciliations and improve reporting capabilities.
Requirements
- Prior experience with Blackboard highly preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex reconciliations.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and take ownership of reporting and cleanup activities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities
- Complete reconciliation cleanup for accounts dating back multiple years.
- Build, run, and refine financial and operational reports within the Blackboard LMS system.
- Assist in organizing, correcting, and streamlining data within the LMS.
- Partner with internal team members during scheduled learning sessions to enhance system understanding.
- Train others on system use, reporting functions, and best practices.
- Support general accounting functions as needed.
