About The Position
Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics is a Comprehensive Spine and Orthopedics Care provider in GA. Our locations include Atlanta, Columbus, Gwinnett, Marietta, Tucker, Stockbridge, Roswell, and the Surgery Center of Roswell. We specialize in offering cutting-edge treatment with a conservative approach. We are growing and seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will be located at our HQ office in Roswell, GA.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Accounting experience required
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Recording daily transactions, reconciling bank/credit card accounts, and maintaining accurate financial data.
- Data Analysis: Reviewing accounts to identify discrepancies and suggesting cost-saving opportunities
- Assist with accounts payable (managing invoice processing, vendor payments, and incoming funds to maintain healthy cash flow
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and experience with accounting software like NetSuite.
