Requirements

College degree in Accounting or related field
Must be extremely organized and have strong time management skills
Must be a self-motivator and work with minimal supervision
Able to meet and exceed deadlines
Able to review data and produce written analysis on it

Responsibilities

Train as a back up to process payroll biweekly utilizing ADP
Contribute to month-end close process by completing reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
Complete AP Payment Runs weekly including printing checks, setting up ACHs and wires, completing positive pay files, and managing timely and accurate payments to vendors
Analyze and complete reporting on all SGA accounts within the company including weekly reviews with department leaders on budget vs actual
Assist Plant Controller on variance reporting for each plant as well as assist in setting up new items
Assist sales team by reviewing sales forecast volume and pricing
Present daily sales order file to company regarding sales order status for the month
Make journal entries as needed to accrue for, reclass or book expenses
Create new tracking and reporting spreadsheets to help business grow and improve as needed
Reviewing, verifying, and entering vendor invoices into the accounting system.
Reconciling accounts payable transactions and vendor statements to resolve discrepancies
Maintaining vendor files, managing communications, and answering payment-related questions
Post, verify, and record customer payments in the accounting system. NetSuite
