This position requires experience, knowledge and competency in accounting principles, practices and analysis, and aims to provide superior quality service to customers.

Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
1 to 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and terminology
Understanding of law, statistics, and general management as it relates to accounting
Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently but also capable of working in a team environment
Strong interpersonal, customer service, telephone, verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the utilization of MS products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle/JD Edwards E-One is desirable

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly account reconciliations for the following: Vendor accounts in support of cost of sales closing cycle, complex cash, support of fixed assets, monthly accruals, and various other accounts.
Prepare, reconcile and submit into the financial system general, reclassification, and recurring journal entries.
Provide financial analysis in support of monthly, quarterly, and audited financials.
Perform multi-system inventory reconciliation and valuation adjustments on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules in support of audited financials.
Research and complete special projects.
Prepare check requests to transfer remittances to appropriate franchises.
