About The Position

Doncasters is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Oxford, Alabama. If you find numbers, and working with spreadsheets interesting, then this could be the role for you. When you join the team as a Staff Accountant, you will use your expertise and experience in finance and accounting to support the organization in achieving its operational successes. You will meet deadlines with accurate and precise detail to meet account reconciliations, month-end closing, tax calculations, internal and external audits, biannual bank audits, along with supporting inventory audits. Requirements

  • Accounting degree, ideally with a focus on , accounting, controlling, or taxes, or an equivalent qualification as an accountant or specialist
  • Proficient in excel.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interface directly with all levels of the business.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 0-2 years’ experience in medium size business

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required
  • Cost accounting experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Epicor or Infor ERP systems is a plus, but not required.
